Game Management wins it Arsenal Player Ratings at Wolves

Massive, massive win against a quality opponent bang in form. Wolves let us have most of the ball in the first half, we took the lead and vitally didn't give anything up cheaply. Second half Wolves came at us and we had to soak up pressure, but grew into the half as it wore on and sealed the win.

A great indicator of the difference Arteta has made - game management was spot on today! Great shift by the players as well.

As a Wolverhampton resident I will be enjoying this one. A stark contrast to last season's trip to Molineux, which also happened to be my first Arsenal away game.

RATINGS

Martinez - 8. Very impressive. Quick off his line, handling was great, distribution was good.
Mustafi - 7. Thought he was solid. Passing suffered at times as a result of a lack of movement.
Luiz - 8. When he is in the right frame of mind he is a joy to have in your team.
Kolasinac - 4. Doing a job for us out of position but looked very nervous. Slow, passed poorly, wasn't great defensively.
Soares - 5. Tried but looked very rusty. Understandably.

Xhaka - 7. Good job in the middle.
Ceballos - 7. Busy again.
Tierney - 6. Thought he'd done okay against Traore. Not sure why he went off early. Involved in the opener.

Saka - 7. Don't think the right is his best position. Didn't have a good first half but wow what a goal.
Nketiah - 7. Worked very hard and used his body well despite the high ball not being his game. Good shift.
Aubameyang - 7. No joy in an attacking-sense but again put in a great shift for the team.

Subs:

Maitland-Niles - 7. Came on and did a job on Traore. Impressive.
Willock - 6. Lively and did very well for the second goal.
Bellerin - 5. Did okay when he came on.
Lacazette - 6. Took his goal well.
Torreira - N/A. Not on long.
