Pleased for Pepe. But come on he wasn't in the game until he scored.

Once again any physical forward bully's us.

Leno was good but Pepe's 2 goals make him MOTM.

Thought Elneny was ok. At least the midfield was more balanced with him playing. He misplaces too many passes though, but so does Partey.

Smith Rowe isn't a 10, he can't do what odegaard did. He's more like an 8, like a Freddie or a Ramsey.

Pepe is effective. He's frustrating, bit if you keep him on, that's what he can do.

Leno- Good performance. Looked more dominating-7.
Agree, but those are the saves and standard you would expect an Arsenal keeper to make. His saves were not incredible Yashin types of saves but a reassuring performance.

Chambers- Dome well against Zaha and put in a great cross for Auba, who should have scored-7. Got forward well on a few occasions, especially early on and late on. Did his job well. Agree with the score.

Holding- Bullied by Benteke- 5. Well, Benteke did not all have it his way. Did make some important tackles and generally part of a defense that brought out the ball relatively well. I'd give a 6.

Gabriel- Ok but struggled against Benteke-6. Same as above. 6

Tierney- Pathetic dive in the first half but a great cross for Pepe's first-6. His struggle continues. I would give him a 5 but minus 1 for that play-acting. For a Scottish lad he is quite prone to bouts of play acting. Like him immensely, just need to cut those out. 4

Partey- Another poor performance-5.
Yes 5 is fair although I have to say that very good players (I consider him one) can have a bad game and yet still do well for the team. He did ok, but I think should be expecting him to dominate games.

Elneny- Awful performance from a awful player-4. Don't think 'awful' is the right description. He does his best but he is a Gilles Grimandi type of player. Remember him? Same role. He plays it too safe most of the time but I thought he did ok - 5

Pepe- 2 great goals and was a threat all evening MOTM-8. Agree with the score but only because of the second goal.

Smith Rowe- Poor. Backwards passes all evening-5. Threatening early on but faded. Even the commentator said he and Saka needs to be protected from too many games to ensure their development. - 4

Saka- Looks shatteted and didn't do much-5
I give him a 4. Like ESR, too much football.

Auba- Another anonymous performane. We can't go in to next with him as our front man-4.
What is wrong with him? - 3

Martinelli- Saved our only hope of getting into the europa. Arteta is a disgrace to not play him- 8
Some sloppy play but great movement and anticipation for the goal - 7

Xhaka- Should have started-6.
Made a massive difference with his distribution and calmness on the ball. Kept and moved the ball well and linked the defence and forward lines well - 7

Odegarrd- Done mpre than Smith Rowe and a good cross to Martinelli-6
Another who kept and moved the ball well. Neat and tidy. Great Ozil-like assist for the goal. - 7

On Gabriel, absolutely exceptional turn of pace and strength to get back at Zaha when he was put through on goal. It was 1:1 at the time. Another reason why we need Saliba and\or Mavrapanos instead of Holding.
