My Arsenal - Panic Response? Panic Buys?

There have been all kinds of responses to the 8-2 defeat on Sunday, and Arsenal's sudden flurry of transfer activity has brought a mixed response. This site has carried all kinds of views as to what is wrong and what needs to be done. Simon68 does not agree with many of the arguments put.

I have read and heard that this nadir is something that has been coming for 6 years. Co-incidentally the amount of time since we last won a trophy. I have read and heard people talking about how this wouldn't have happened with David Dein at the Club. I have read and heard people talking about Arsene Wenger's ineptitude in the transfer market. I have also heard it said that today's and tomorrows signings are panic buys.

I disagree on all points.
