Super Sober Nik totals Aston Martin - misses Olympiacos

Nik was probably due for a rest on bench, but having totaled his £120,000 Aston Martin he will be given the evening off. No doubt he will want a wage rise to replace the car. Apparently he was trying to hit the car load of Spurs supporters in front of him but missed and the car went wide off the motorway.

However, he passed the breathalyser test, and is most excited by his new qualification. He also managed to keep his trousers' on, although he will need to change them, so the Police had to let him go. Red Action are holding a collection for him so he can buy a runaround to use whilst his car is repaired.

Let's get serious

Well aren't you all excited about the visit of Olympiacos, a team from the country that swears by the Sam Allardyce Coaching Manual? Apparently all tickets are sold out for this one, but don't fret, if you can't get a ticket there are still spares for the team they are twinned with on Sunday - Blackburn Rovers.

Can Arsenal make it nine?

Mind you I don't want to give the wrong impression, they are no way near as good as Rovers, they have lost their last eight games in England. They conceded 27 goals and scored one, so if Arsenal only score four they will be worse than average. If Arsenal concede one it means a defence worse than Portsmouth.

So when Wenger sits with a straight face saying it will be a tough match;  then remember the only tough thing about the game will be getting his team to take Olympiacos seriously, and that can be tougher than you think. Actually he could afford to give one or two a rest.

Eduardo will return, but not Walcott. Wenger is arranging a special game for Walcott - he does spoil him.

Arsenal Possible Squad: Mannone, Clichy, Gallas, Vermaelen, Sagna, Song, Diaby, Fabregas, Arshavin, Eduardo, van Persie, Szczesny, Rosicky, Eboue, Silvestre, Ramsey, Gibbs, Wilshere, Vela, Watt, Senderos.

SKY said nik was on his way to training when the accident happened so I'm sure he would not have been worse for wear.

Our opponents tomorrow have Zico in charge, they sacked ex toon player Ketsbia(sp) on eve of last CL game saying it was cos of poor results despite the fact they were unbeaten. - four wins and two draws

I fear that we could be affected by sods law tomorrow and that Mannone will have a shocker to even out his great game v Fulham

touch wood that doesn't happen ed'. I hope you're not trying merl's tactic of tempting fate.
That said, i've already changed my prediction to give them a goal from pretty much the same line of thinking!!
