Henry signs today?

My phone went at 6:30 am today, ace Arsenal Times reporter JJ ringing in to say he had heard on BBC 4 Henry was signing for Arsenal today. I couldn't get to the Arsenal Times communication centre because another mate was crashed out on the sofa slap bang in the middle of it.

If this was Holloywood I would have kicked him out of the sofa bed screaming stop the press.Instead I started to look for a radio that would work in my archive of a bedroom. Eventually I got one to work. Radio 5 were repeating the story but no proof. But one reporter insisted it was true.

So here I am in work trying to file copy with lunatic work mates singing Thierry Henry. I always said I thought he was staying, but I won't feel happy until the ink dries on the new contract.Desailly also says he is staying. If he was going to Barca he had a strange way of greeting his new team mates, especially Ronny. Ten days ago he talked about "we" at the new stadium. On the way back from France he talked about "we" will fight back and come back to win CL.
