- Post it on News Now with lurid headline
- Wait and watch as hundreds of other blogs copy your phoney story
- Post it on Forums of sites who prefer to ignore such bollox
- Newspapers (mainly rags) now recycle the story as fact
- Blogs now recycle the story as absolute fact because its no longer the mate of a mate rumour but in Her Majesty’s Press. And as we know that means its must be true.
- Now follow up with posts on forums, or blogs, that it is almost certain x, c, or y are going and you don’t really care.How you will spend the £10 to 50 million (make up your own figure).
- Wenger now has to deny the story – that proves there is no smoke without fire.
- Fans get upset at disloyalty of player x, c, or y
- Great for demoralising players and fans.
- This is known as the Chinese laundry system
Just one question to the launderers. Being as how just about every Arsenal player has been named at some time or another, and all these rumours are fact, how come the Arsenal has a full squad at the start of every season? Surely Wenger should be addressing an empty dressing room?
