Gilberto dropped, or rotated, for Lager Cup?

Wenger has announced a very strong squad for Tuesday’s night Semi - final against Wigan, Gilberto remains in the squad in spite of his very poor string of performances against North West clubs. It can only be hoped he will be on the bench. Putting Pires on the bench at WHL had a good effect on him.
Wigan have just beaten Boro away, so confidence will be high, and they didn’t crumble at Chelsea either (although they lost 1-0). They have a goal advantage so you can guess the game plan. Will the midfield be able to break them down? With Fabregas suspended, Gilberto in poor form and Diaby new to the English game it might not be that easy. It will be the same defence as on Saturday, so watch out for high balls lobbed over the middle, no not you the reader, but Phil and Sol – watch out boys.
On the bright side van Persie and Henry are in the squad – so let’s hope they are on form.
