Football's image might receive a setback this Saturday with a feeding frenzy of breaking news from the tabloids. For the inner secrets of the Manchester United dressing room are about to be revealed. What scandals and goings on will be revealed?

For somebody - has bugged the Manchester United dressing room. Could this be industrial espionage? Is it someone trying to find out Sir Alex's great tactical secrets, did the special one want to check on the half time team talk, or listen out for referee visits? Did they want to know how does he spend so much money and get such poor results? Or could it be the Glazers loking for evidence to sack him. Could it be the Coolmore Mafia listening out for tips, or a direct line to Pizza Express?

What have they found out so far? Well - wait for it - that Man U beat Chelsea and Rooney was only interested in the Everton score. So its not just about the money after all - he still cares about the blues. Clearly the issue may not be so much as what was said - but who was it who wanted to listen?
