THE GMB union has taken up the case of member James Ramsey against Arsenal football club. James was dismissed on 23 August for alleged gross misconduct.

It is alleged that he was rude and aggressive towards two customers, who admitted in a statement to the club that they verbally abused James in the stadium club shop.

James has been blind in one eye since birth and because of his disability, tends to squint and frown which can give the appearance of an aggressive stance. James has worked at Arsenal since he left school seven years ago. He has an exemplary work record.

Supporters should write to the Arsenal Football Club demanding his reinstatement. Arsenal Football Club, Avenell Rd London N5 1BU
