Arsenal threw away 2 points today, two easy goals conceded from setpieces. Wenger refuse to blame the centre backs, quite rightly he blamed the whole team. For the first a bus could have been driven through the defence. Where was Vieira and Gilberto? They have got to help out in these situations. Arsenals passing was way off the pace - Wenger noted afterwards it was either too short or too long from the start. That being the case why water the pitch at the start, and at half-time, making the ball speed off the surface and into the crowd again and again. It was windy and unpleasant yet Arsenal decided to compete at head tennis with Bolton, they needed to bring the ball down more. Meanwhile Jens Lehman continued to belt the ball up the field to our non-existent 8 foot tall target man. Nonetheless we had our moments, at 2-1 the team started to gel, and was playing well. It was slightly against the run of play when Bolton equalised. Lauren was penalised and yellow carded for shirt tugging (a bit rich considering the number of hack downs Gardener got away with. It was then the team lost concentration and failed to deal with a very basic ball into the area. No doubt the referee was trying to keep Allardici happy by leveling up the yellows. Bolton fought hard for the draw and deserved it, but Arsenal should have kept the lead or even extended it. Arsenal seemed a bit jaded and perhaps a late reaction to all the internationals and champions football. They have a week now to get the defence back into shape and the passing back to standard. But the mood in the pub afterwards was happy enough, we will still stay on top, and its 46 unbeaten. Chelski's hard matches Yup they have had it tough Manures reserves and the all flying Crystal Palace. Another tough one tomorrow Moanrinho - Totteringham, who on top form held Norwich to a draw last week. Coleman moans on Coleman is becoming a laughing stock, how can he complain about the refereeing against WBA? The only wrong decision was not to order a retaking of the WBA penalty. Van de Sar was yards off his line, and his antics had put Earnshaw off.
