A concerned Manure fan approached me at work today to warn that Bolton would be a tough game. I agreed, after all "they gave you a tough time". Ah yes but they kicked us all over the place he claimed. I don't remember it being a dirty game, but it did ring a bell - after all two seasons ago Bolton literally kicked us out of the game. Some of the tackles bordered on the criminal, and in no time we had to make several substitutions. We were two nil up - but all the sudden changes saw us lose our shape and we went to 2-2 in a flash. It was this game that saw us go into a run that lost our seemingly impregnable lead. So should we worry about tomorrow? Well it might be tough - but I doubt if they will get away with it again. This Arsenal team is mentally tough, inspite of crap articles in the Guardian saying otherwise. The team will be up for it and will not allow Bolton to kick us of course this time. It might be tough but the Gooners will prevail. They have learnt the lesson of not being bullied out of games. Allardici claims he is denied several penalties a year, never mind Sam they let you off Red cards instead. BOOTS TO BALLET Thierry has been on Sky Sports News this evening, very modest and not at all boastful. I cant help feeling that if asked he would even say Palace had a chance to stay up - he doesnt like to upset anyone, even defending Chelski. Fine - keep it that way - Arsenal fans could do well to copy this graceful and modest star. However it wasn't all bland, asked about Paddy he gave the impression that he wasnt that fussed either way. He wanted him to stay but he just didn't think the world would end if he went. Pointing out that Paddy is a grown man, he should be entitled to make up his own mind he argued. But personally he wouldn't move on because he loves playing with this team. It was clear that this team meant with or without Paddy. And he denies that he can play the Drums, he had lessons but didn't take to it.
