I am sure you have read reports of the Q and A with Ivan Gazidis, so it would be easier if readers just raise questions about it here in the forum. I will raise a few post meeting thoughts below before leaving it to you the reader.

I missed the post Bradford meeting at the Emirates due to a family funeral, but they provided free and sumptious food for those that attended, I am not interested in free food I can pay my way, but as there was no free food at all, at this latest event, not even a biscuit, I asumed this meant the bosses are feeling more upbeat.

You will be pleased to know Gazidis is aware of his song, and he more or less explained what it is he does, but I lost the will to live halfway through and forgot what it was.

So what is of importance? Well Ivan insisted that he has done his job well and is on target to hit £300 million revenue in 2 years time (No he didnt confirm Puma deal, but hinted a good kit deal is on the way). So he claimed that his side had done its job and they were giving Wenger the tools to do the job. By that he meant, and did explain, buy quality players and let the wage structure evolve.

When pressed as to would Arsene buy quality players he refuse to commit himself. He also made it clear they had not gone in for anyone yet due to the changeover of managers being widespread. the market hadn't started yet.

In effect he was making it clear that Arsene has money to spend and can pay higher wages but that he had no power to make him do so. He also felt that Arsene was the man to spend the new revenues that will become available.

Bulldust? Maybe, but whether true or not it leaves the ball firmly in Wenger's court.
