Messiah To Do It By Bus? Gunners Count Blessings

Badger's return

By Boris Mellor
January 28 2008

Is anybody excited by the idea of playing Newcastle twice in four days? Sure, we need the points, but a change is as good as a rest. Now badger bonce might not be the world’s greatest tactician (No might about it, he ain’t. Ed), but even he knows that to carry on attacking Arsenal is fatal.

Therefore, he has a choice, walk on water, or park the bus. He is already thinking back to one of his 0-0 triumphs with Man City at Manure, when such tactics succeeded. My guess is that he will park the bus, as it Wenger’s team that runs on water. Hence, the fact the pitch is still being watered on cold dark winter days, Arsenal players just cannot skid around enough.

It is hard to preview these games when not sure who Wenger will put out.  Will he rest Adebayor? Tempting, but be better to go 3-0 up and then rest him. Sagna will probably come back in to the team. In addition, it is possible that Walcott might be rested and Eduardo starts. The 3-0 result was deserved in the end, but it was not that easy a victory.

  Blessings?

Well Man U away is not one of them; how does Chelsea get so many easy cup-ties? This will be a tough game just before Milan in the CL; it will be problematic in terms of personnel, especially if the Africans are not back. On the other hand, it will be a chance to strike a psychological blow in the race for the Premiership. However Wenger might prefer to prioritise the CL and the league, and sacrifice the cup, it will not be the first time.

So where are the blessings? Well Rosicky, and Toure are on the mend, and RvP is starting to train again. In addition, the biggest blessing of all – Woodgate is not coming. I really am pleased, any mate of Bowyer is not a mate of mine. I refuse to believe that Wenger would sign such a character. Forget expediency, trophies, and gain just read up on his history in the Bowyer affair at Leeds. Strange how Duberry was the only one not to be played during the whole grisly affair.

We will get by without him; let the Totts have the bad karma. Another three points against King Plum’s men this Tuesday will ensure that we do.

He will park Santini Bus.
Take it as lesson learnt.

Then it is up to Hleb and Eduardo to function as a can-opener.
And time for OVER_RATED "Pass_Pass_Pass" Fabregas not to miss the barndoor from 12 yards out...grinning smiley

The key is stil to maintain a clean-sheet as we can't allow Taylor to has another free header earlier in the game...adn score first..then..**GASP****..10-0-0 for the rest fo 90-minutes of play.

What we need is to score [again] within 90 secnds and watch the bus skidded off the pitch.

Snce SMITHBOYO aka Negotiator in small cas had returned...ADEBAYOR DA CRAB will certianly score again....(Sm6)

Tough games ahead... Liverpool have drawn very easily this year in the FA cup even tough their performances dont suggest it...

Well, of the three games played in the last 7 days tonight's is clearly the biggest. So I'm not sure why Wenger would rest Adebayor if he didn't do so in the FA Cup.
