Merida could play against Everton – squad in full

Arsene Wenger admits that this will be the toughest of tests for his youngsters, and that the ability to defend well will be crucial.

The squad is quite similar to the previous cup game, and Eboue and Adebayor are now fit. It is likely this pair will start as they need to get back to match fitness as soon as possible.

 

Merida is on the bench and could be involved at some level. Jeremie Aliadiere scored two goals on his last Carling outing, he also struck up a good partnership with Theo.

 

The first team find Everton a tough nut to crack, can the yougsters do better?
