The feud between Chelsea and William Gallas has taken a new turn this morning according to headlines in the Mirror Sport. The Mirror claims that Gallas is prepared to sue Chelsea over the "own goal" allegations.
Gallas is now consulting his lawyers over the own goal claim. Gallas denies the accusations made by Chelsea. He is also consulting Wenger over what he considers a gross libel. Wenger is now in Paris to watch France v Italy. Wenger may not be keen on court action as it will be a major distraction to the Arsenal season (no doubt part of the method in Mourinho's madness).
So far the French Coach and Gordon Taylor of the English PFA have criticised Chelsea over their behaviour.
It is unlikely there is any evidence of what Gallas actually said at the time, and the fact Chelsea failed to take any action at the time, would seem to weaken the strength of Chelsea's case.
