Arsenal through to Quarters Player Ratings Eddy MotM

A poor quality match in truth but the main thing is we're through to the next round.  A stronger line up may be needed in the next round with the quality of teams left. We will also have to hope White is ok.

Leno 7 - Made a few good saves and looked assured.
 
Cedric 5 - Poor performance.  His passing was very poor and allowed Dan James a 1 on 1 chance.
 
White 7 - Very good driving runs upfield but needs to pick better passes.
 
Holding 7- Good game considering he hasn't started in along time. Defended well.
 
Kolasinic 7- Done well.  None of his normal clangers.
 
AMN 5 - Poor. Poor on the ball.  Not good enough to be a CM.
 
Elneny 3 - Awful performance.  Normal sidewards and backwards passing and gave the ball away.  Is not good enough for this level.
 
Pepe - 4 Another poor game from him.  Doesn't have a clue how to use his pace and is struggling badly with confidance.  Badly needs a goal.
 
Smith Rowe 4- Didn't offer anything tonight.  Probably shouldn't have started as he always looks tired after playing 2 games in a week
 
Neketiah 7- MOTM.  Worked hard and got a goal. He was very lucky with the finish though.
 
Martinelli 5 - Worked hard but didn't take his chance.  He needs to have a loan spell as he needs games to develop.
 
SUBS
Chambers 7 - Good cameo. Good header for the goal.
 
Laca 6 - Looked sharp.  Should have scored.
 
Lokonga 6- Better than Eleney.

White has only got a bug. He's not injured.
Odegaard is injured.

Elneny & Pepe absolute garbage. Who the hell would pay for these two ?

Martinelli looks slow. He will be moved on or loaned out.

Neketiah did the best out of the lot for pushing for a starting place. But he shouldn't get one.

It's still a worry we are having to field AMN & Kolasinic.

Hopefully White is feeling better for Saturday. It did look like he picked up a thigh strain in the first half.

We need to strengthen our squad in January as the subs are not good enough.
