Brilliant performances from all the team on and off the ball. Second half, not that surprisingly, the pace dropped but thay still controlled the game. This is the standard they have to keep now.
Player Ratings:
Ramsdale 8- Passion and commitment. Loved when he shouted at Partey, showed leadership and made a great save which saved us from being very nervous.
Tomi 9- Had Son in his pocket most of the game and kept his concentration twice to stop 2 tap ins for them. Has settled brilliantly and is a big upgrade on Bellerin.
White 8 - His best performance for us and dealt very well with Kane in the main and was very good on the ball.
Gabriel 8- Dominant performane and was very good on the ball as well.
Tierney 8- Back to his best today. Defended sensibly and got forward well
Xhaka 8- Showed leadership and made some great passed through the lines. Hopefully his injury isn't serious.
Partey 8- Makes a big difference to our midfield. Dominated midfield in the first half and read the game very well.
Saka 8- Goal and assisit. Slowly coming back to what we know he can do.
Odegaard 8- Great work rate. Picked up very intelligent positions.
Smith Rowe 9- Pace, intelligence and work rate. Scored and assisted. England will be calling him up soon.
Auba 9- MOTM. Worked his socks off. Held up the ball, battled for balls in the air. Tackled and scored with a great finish on his weaker foot. His celebration was great as well.
Takehiro Tomiyasu had more touches (67) and made more ball recoveries (8) than any other Arsenal player against Tottenham. He is yet to be dribbled past by an opponent in the Premier League this season.
