The match is easily summed up, Chamakh scored in the first minute and the last, Fabianski kept everything out, Wolves had more possession, but Arsenal won. Good, nothing wrong with that, how many times has it been the other way around?It’s nothing to get excited about, I expect Arsenal to beat teams that are second for the bottom, last year they did it 4-1, and wiped the floor with Wolves. This time they imitated a George Graham eleven.

Sunday will be tougher, Everton away and still celebrating that they kept a six match unbeaten run against Big Sam’s Bolton with a 90 minute goal.

Hansen Makes Me Sick

On MOTD Alan Hansen decided to concentrate on those two arch villains of dirty football Arsene Wenger and Cesc Fabregas. They had the nerve to apologise for Cesc’s tackle on Ward. Even though Wardy had accepted the apology like a man, that wasn’t good enough for Hansen, he wanted a red, he wanted Wenger hunted down. He probably wished he had been there to sing Dirty Spanish Basket along with the Wolves fans.

Strangely he didn’t discuss a far worse tackle, that of Karl Henry on Arshavin that didn’t even get a yellow. He probably hadn’t noticed it, as he was busy singing Same Old Arsenal Always Cheating as the Wolves fans admonished Arshavin for daring to limp.

Yes Fab’s was a bad tackle, but he did get close to the ball, nor was it two footed. Nor was it halfway up the leg like Henry’s was on Arshavin.

But he wasn’t finished; he then went onto say that Essien shouldn’t have been sent off for a two footed tackle on Clint Dempsey.

When Eduardo and Ramsey had their legs broken he didn’t insist on apologies from players or managers, no his main concern was that Wenger had been too harsh on the perpetrators. Wenger is the villain when his players suffer bad tackles, Wenger is the villain if he apologises for a bad tackle. The real issue wasn’t the broken legs, no it was Wenger’s overreaction, and it was Wenger who should have apologised.

My memory might be failing me here, but I can swear he went on  to say that Tiny Taylor shouldn’t have been sent off for the tackle that ended Eduardo’s Premiership career.

So where is the logic in all this? Simple he hates Arsenal and Wenger. He can never forget that Arsenal ended Liverpool’s power in 1989, and that Wenger is French and plays overseas players. That this Uncle Tom Scot has become the cheerleader for Engerland.

He is a hypocrite who practices contorted logic to satisfy his own whim at the expense of the taxpayer. He is a disgrace and its time his jaded cracked mug, with its twisted leer, was taken off our sets

good article, but you missed out on Hansen's exchange with Lee Dixon where he muttered something like "you would have been mad if when you where playing you got sent off for that tackle(the essien two footed lung) - this for me highlights one major flaw almost all the pundits, especially the ex players(those who finished more than five years ago), have, and that is they are still judging incidents in todays games by the rules they themselves used to play under, and as we all know there has been major changes to the rules, such as tackle from behind being outlawed, tackles that endanger an opponent(getting the ball first or last makes no difference if it endangers an opponent), offside rules, barging and obstructing goalies and a few more rules,
as many of todays fans get their knowledge of the rules etc from listening and watching these so called experts on TV, it is outrageous that these muppets and their employers on the BBC, ITV, SKy, ESPN etc do not ensure that these falsehoods are not allowed to be aired.

yes Eduardo and the other major flaw with todays pundits is that most of them are pathologically incapable of disassociating themselves from thirty year old personal club rivalries.

Cesc could have easlily gone last night and I dont think we could have had many complaints it was a similiar tackle to the one Joe Cole got sent off for against us. he knew it too when he gave Mark Halsey a pat on the back after getting yellow.
Anyway the tackle is irrelevant its the medias reaction to it thats the real issue. I wuldnt expect anything better from Hansen, hes bitter still living in the past when his former club used to be the top dogs all he has now is his little soap to peddle his agenda and we as supporters should rise above it.
I was suprsied however to listen to the Guardian podcast which is usually lighthearted enough with some good analysis.
They had Jacob Steinberg on who said and I quote "I do enjoy when Arsneal players make bad tackles because it shows how much of a hypocrite Wenger is" and he goes on to belittle the arguement about Henry's tackle.
Now its not often i champion AW but his stance of violent tackling in the game is to be lauded. However the bottom line is with English jornos and pundits in general is they all deep down think-who does this Frenchy think he is trying to tell us how to play the game we invented etc etc. Their waiting for every opportunity to stick it to the man and it works because peoples opinion of Wenger is that hes a moaner and wants tackles outlawed in the game.

If we had 'Arry as manger they would be creaming their panties about how noble and honourable he is trying to clean up the game.

we all know these idiots are constantly hunting for a reason to bring wenger and arsenal down.. since wenger has been moaning about bad tackles, i just knew some idiots will make a meal out of it...

we cares...3 points in the bags.. i am dreading this weekend though...since we have a case of split personality disorder..i wonder which arsenal will turn up.

Can We Now Trust The Process 🤔🤷🏿‍♀️ or Should We Still Remain Cautious 🙇🏿‍♀️

These press pple @#$%& me off, the pundits know nothing about football for that matter.
I guess I don't really care now if any of our players break any opponents leg, I don't mind any of our players doing a bloody two footed tackle, elbowing, shoving, punching anyone who comes close to take the ball away.

It doesnt matter anymore coz we will always be seen as a villian any other day.
