Wenger says he was wrong

Arsene Wenger has held his hands up and said he was wrong over the team he picked for Fulham. He felt that the defence he chose was not much different to the one he had played unbeaten in Europe.
He also felt that at the age of 19 Fabregas had to be rested sooner rather than later. Song, who had been man of the match at Everton, was he felt an adequate replacement. With so many fixtures ahead he has to rotate the team, and he will continue to do so.
However the result had not gone Arsenal’s way, and therefore he had to admit he was wrong. Wenger also felt that Song had been criticised too harshly in some quarters, although he refrained from mentioning the boo boys. If people wanted to criticise himself then he could take it, but he felt that you had to very careful how you impart criticism to a youngster.
Listening to Wenger defend Song, and admit he got it wrong, makes you realise what a humane, and honest being Wenger is. Yet a lot of fans, even including a few Arsenal ones, just love to put on a piss poor French accent and parrot "I didn’t zeez it" ha ha how funny and original.
