Very good performance. Let's hope we play like this in Prague and we won't have any issues going through. I expect Arteta to pick the same 11.
Leno- Not much to do but needs to start catching the ball-6
Chambers- Got forward well and wasn't really tested at the back-7
Holding- His most assured game for a while-7
Mari- Lacks pace but brings a calmness to the defence which Gabriel currently doesn't- 7
Xhaka- Another good game from him despite playing out of position-7
Partey- His best game in a while. Brilliant pass to Laca for our 3rd. Simplified his game more-8
Ceballos- Why doesn't he play like this every week? He was brilliant and evaded the press with ease-9
Pepe- Had some sloppy moments but he was a threat with his pace and direct running and linked up well with Saka -8
Saka- Hopefully his injury isn't bad. He is a managers dream. Another player who looked threatening because he was direct-8
Martinelli- A joy to watch. He puts in a shift and is so direct. Deserved his goal- 8
Laca- MOTM, His performances was night and day from Thursday. Took both goals brilliantly and linked up with the other forwards well-9
Willian, Elneny and Nketiah weren't on long enough to mark.

Overall a good team performance and totally bossed it.
Xhaka did a good job as full back . But was never tested really.
Ceballos had a very good game.
Hopefully Saka injury will be ok for Thursday.
Lacazette MOTM great performance . He really does seem to like playing alongside the younger players.
So pleased for Martinelli . Was worried when he went down injured.
Whether he will be able to play 2 game in a row I don't know. But we need his energy and enthusiasm against Prague.
And a clean sheet at long last.
Aubameyang is a problem for the team.

I think it helped him not having Xhaka next to him. Xhaka tends to sit square on to Partey meaning Partey's outlet pass is usually to his left. With Ceballos and Saka playing further forward he was forced to play forward through the middle. (Where he is much stronger.)
Sheffield United might be the worst team to ever play in the Premier League though. They are worse than the record breaking Derby side in my opinion.
Like his energy and putting in a defensive shift nowadays.
He needed upper body strength and seriously hit the gym this summer.
I will give Gervinho a 6.0 if he played in that game and Pepe a 6.5.

Too many moves broke down as a result of Pepe losing possession thru poor touch, ball control or sloppy passing. It is frustrating for me to see this happen as he has the talent to make a difference. If he can sharpen up this part of his game, he can be a much better player.
