Sensational news from switzerland! Hakan Yakin, who not figured in Köbi Kuhns original 23-men squad for the worldcup, finally slipped in the team.
The 29 years old playmaker from YB Bern, who was one of five swiss players to be on a "stand by" list for the worldcup, was finally called to join the squad at the cost of Johan Vonlanthen, who has an injured thigh and would probably not become fit in the next two weeks.
Hence Vonlanthens performances for NAC Breda were not convincing last season, and Yakin found more and more back to his old form in the last rounds of the swiss league, it`s a happening which would make the neutral swiss writer not unhappy, if he would be able to feel anything apart from greed and a mysterious inclination toward goats und unnecessary long sentences.
