Corinthians are moving closer to capturing CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love. They have been tracking the Brazilian for some months, but the two clubs had been poles apart in their estimates of the player.
CSKA had been demanding $24 million for the striker, but reports in the Brazilian press claim that has been negotiated down to $15 million, making the move more than likely.
Corinthians vice president Andres Sanchez stated:
"I am 60 percent sure that Vagner Love will come to Corinthians."
"On Monday I will be able to talk about 90 or 100%."
