The recently retired legend Zinedine Zidane has offered to coach the Bangladeshi national team, during his short visit to the Asian country. The French star was invited by 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Muhammad Yunus.
His time in the city of Dacca and the nearby places left a huge impression on the former player, as he stated:
"I'm overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the people here.
He played a match in the street with local youngsters, which was followed by 25 million people on television, and when asked if he would come out of retirement to play in Bangladesh, he replied:
"I am not interested in playing, but yes, I am interested in training the Bangladeshi team.
