French move for Manchester United star?

According to this mornings press Lyon are interested in bringing unsettled striker Ruud van Nistelrooy to France and are willing to use midfielder Mahamadou Diarra as part of the deal. Speaking to the Daily Star club official Bernard Lacombe stated:

"It is sure Lyon are interested in Van Nistelrooy."

"It'll be a complicated financial deal unless we can exchange one of our players, like Diarra."
