Spanish move for Spurs star?

Spanish side Sevilla are said to be lining up a bid for Spurs striker Fredi Kanoute as they look to replace Julio Baptista, who recently signed for Real Madrid. Reports in Spain go as far as saying contact between Sevilla and Kanoute’s agent have already taken place although these have not been confirmed.

They are not alone in wanting Kanoute as Spurs have already fielded enquires from West Bromwich Albion and West Ham regarding the Mali international striker.
