D'Alessandro to stay in Germany

Despite interest from Spurs and Deportivo La Coruna Argentina midfielder Andres D'Alessandro has decided to stay Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg. He agreed to stay after new coach Holger Fach flew to Argentina to persuade him to remain with the club.

D'Alessandro stated:

"I was delighted that the club manager and the coach came to Buenos Aires and that together we were able to talk freely about things."
