Chelsea have made a €100m offer

Rumour has it that Chelsea have made a €100m offer for Adriano. Two nights ago, Abramovich was in Milan and had dinner with Shevchenko and Kaladze. It appears he has the hots for Kaladze so expect to see the Ukranian in a Chelsea shirt next season.

Chelsea have also moved for Gilardino, as have Real.

Parma have an agreement (verbal) with Milan for the transfer of Gilardino and another agreement (also verbal) with the player himself regarding wages.

However, Parma's former Director of Football, Arrigo Sacchi, now DoF of Real is trying to orchestrate an operation which would see Real buy Parma and use it as a satellite club. If this were to happen, then the verbal agreements with Milan wouldn't be worth a fig.

Last summer, a politician close to Berlusconi (owner of AC Milan), told a reputable journalist that they (Milan) had bought Totti from Roma (for around €60m/€70m), but the deal was put on ice. Rumour has it that Berlusconi personally 'phones Totti regularly in order to convince him to sign for Milan and that the new offer is €40m (lower than last season, since Totti hasn't renewed his contract with Roma yet). Roma are in desperate need of money, which is why Cassano will probably join Juventus (with Mutu perhaps going the other way in part exchange) and why Chivu may also be sold (I believe Juventus are interested in him, too).

Getting back to the Adriano/Inter/Chelsea saga, Adriano is, apparently, unhappy with his manager Mancini and is thinking of moving clubs, although the manager has said that this is rubbish, stirred up by the media. What is certain is that his AC Milan Brazilian counterparts, with whom he hangs out in Milan, constantly rib him about not ever winning anything at Inter and suggesting he leave the club. Adriano is a youngster and I do think that this is starting to affect him a bit, especially with AC Milan being so successful.

If Inter did decide to cash in on Adriano, then they'll swoop for Gilardino and it will be a battle royal between them, Milan and Real...Milan would be favourites unless the go for Totti. Real would be favourites if they were to buy Parma.

Inter also have an eye on Ronaldinho, perhaps the only player who would appease the fans in the event of Adriano's sale.
