Juventus director general Luciano Moggi has today confirmed that Juventus have received an enquiry from Middlesbrough regarding midfielder Stephen Appiah.
They face competition from Birmingham and an as yet unnamed Italian side for his signature.
The main problem with the deal is Juve want a straight cash deal for the player, while Middlesbrough are looking for a season long loan deal.
Steve McClaren is also rumoured to be interested in Igor Tudor, who although currently playing for Siena, is still on Juventus’ books
