Spurs ready for some Argy bargy

Spurs look likely to complete the loan signing of Argentine defender Fabricio Coloccini, they fought off a concerted challenge by Deportivo La Coruna who were thought ass favourites to land the defender, in fact it had looked like he had all but joined the La Liga outfit, when Spurs made their move.

Of course Spurs have a long tradition of Argentine’s at the club with names as big as Ossie Ardiles and Ricky Villa gracing White Hart Lane in the past, if he could become anywhere near as big of a success, he will be one hell of a popular man.

But for the sake of everybody not in North London, let’s just hope we can avoid the Chas and Dave song this time.
