Southampton and Spurs in for Roma Striker

Roma striker Mido’s agent, Christophe Henrotay today confirmed that both Southampton and Spurs are keen to take his client to the premiership. Martin Jol recently admitted that he would like to bring in a forth striker and of course Southampton are yet to replace the departed James Beattie. Mido was being touted for a premiership move in the summer before eventually deciding to join Serie A and Roma, but has since struggled to make an impact and could be persuaded to once again take up his interest in a move to England.

Both clubs would be only looking to take the striker on loan and it remains to be seen if Roma would be agreeable to that.
