Italian giants Inter Milan have won their Serie A tie against Livorno tonight with 4-1. The Nerazzuri played freely and their win was never in doubt after they were already 2-0 ahead after thirteen minutes of play. Inter took the lead after only two minutes when Livorno's Mark Pfertzel put the ball behind his own goalkeeper. Only ten minutes later Marco Materazzi headed home and scored the 2-0. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Julio Ricardo Cruz were the other scorers for Inter in the second half. Christiano Lucarelli, who started on the bench, scored the only goal for Livorno.

Inter Milan are still topping the Italian Serie A table together with Palermo, who beat Messina at home today (2-1). Both teams have eighteen points from eight games. Internationale remain the only unbeaten side in the Serie A.
