Portsmouth in for Gera

Portsmouth are currently planning to hand West Bromwich midfielder Zoltan Gera a way back to the Premiership. Pompey are prepared to splash out £1.5 million on the Hungarian international. Zoltan Gera never made a secret of his desire to return to Premier League and would be very willing to sign for Portsmouth.

In the meantime Gera is preparing for Hungary's next Euro 2008 qualifier against Malta on Wednesday.
