At last, WC2010 has took off since the 2nd round of group matches started on Wednesday with Uruguay's polished 3-0 victory over the hosts - Bafana, Bafana. In four matches so far, THIRTEEN goals have been scored - top scorers are Argentina who whacked in four in a Messi inspired victory over South Korea yesterday lunchtime.

The 'Hairy Hobbit' was happy one as an own goal and a Higuain hat-trick (the first of the finals) almost secured Argentina's qualification into the last sixteen.

A Demichelis error allowed South Korea back into the game right on half-time, but to no avail.

Greece scored their first goals in their second appearance at the World Cup finals, coming from behind to beat Nigeria 2-1.

Nigeria are almost on the plane home and they can thank their 'keeper, Enyeama, who single-handedly kept the Greeks at bay with a serious of fine saves.

Unfortunately for Enyeama (the biggest critic of WC2010's match ball) he produced a Robert Greenesque error to present Torosidis with the easiest opportunity to give Greece the lead and ultimately the three points.

Nigeria had Kaita sent-off for needlessly kicking Torosidis on the touch-line when the ball was out of play.

France are almost on the plane home as well after their 2-0 defeat against Mexico in the last game of the day. With both Mexico and Uruguay on four points in Group A and yet to play each other (the final games are next Tuesday), could a South American conspiracy be on the cards?

A draw will see both countries through to the last sixteen, regardless of France's result against Bafana, Bafana and both games kick-off kick-off at 3pm.

Mexico scorers were Hernandez and Blanco with a penalty, ten minutes from time.

Is Domenech's time up as France's coach? Well, he could always go to Liverpool!!! LOL LOL.
