According to reports today, David Beckham stepped in to de-fuse a full scale row between Steven Gerrard and John Terry, although reports haven't actually stated what was wrong between the pair, perhaps more information will be forthcoming in the next couple of weeks when any court injunctions imposed before the World Cup will be lifted?!?!

Another England player could be in serious trouble this weekend in the press - explains why he has buggered off on holiday - as far away as possible.

Fair play to Sepp Blater, FIFA's chief, for apologising to both the English and Mexican FA's for the horrible and game changing decisions given by his officials last weekend.

The Uruguayan referee for England's game has been sent packing and it is said he was spotted boarding a plane in heavy disguise.

Blatter has also publicly announced that he will re-consider his stance of goal-line technology when FIFAs board convene for a meeting later on this month.

Perhaps Platini can learn from the Blatter turnaround and be more ruthless with the referees in his charge!!!

The World Cup Quarter-Final get underway tomorrow (Friday) with Holland taking on Brazil at 3pm, followed by Uruguay v Ghana at 7.30pm.
