A lot of questions over England's shambolic, pathetic, indequate, flimsy, rubbish (think of the adjectives and you have got the description of their performance in South Africa), may have something to do with the stories of unrest, in-house fighting and general divisions within the camp, that are about to break - tomorrow or within the next 14 days - if true.
Our press (who will support you in glory or slaughter you) must be rubbing their hands with glee, waiting to break a story that has been rumour knowledge for at least the last couple of months and would explain to a degree why England performed so ineptly, why a certain player celebrated so wildly when England scored against the USA and why a certain player looked so dammed f**cking miserable when he got off the s**t shuttle at Heathrow yesterday and why the FA has decided to decide on 'Granite Faces' future in two weeks time.
To increase the intrigue further, another England player who is reported to be going on holiday as soon as he landed at Heathrow, has been caught with his pants down.
Back to reality. No more football until Friday when the Quarter-Finals start with Holland v Uruguay and Brazil v Ghana.
Yesterday saw Paraquay beat Japan 5-3 on penalties after a 0-0 draw and Spain (with a David Villa goal) beat Portugal 1-0.
Spain v Portugal had the potential to be 'the best game of WC2010' but like Portugal v Brazil in the group stages - the game was rubbish.
