Last Season at KCC

Chelsea welcome back Didier Drogba tonight at the KCC stadium from his duties with the Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations. It is a welcome return, but we cannot say that we have missed him. Five games, five wins and plenty of goals. The last coming from the head of beleagured skipper John Terry last Saturday evening.

A win tonight will put us four points clear of ManUre at the top of the table and EIGHT points clear of Goonerville from Corporate City setting us up to completely knock them out of the title race this coming Sunday at Stamford Bridge.

Last season at the KCC it was damm flaming freezing as Chelsea strolled to an easy 3-0 victory. Tonight it is expected to be raining and not snowing as it was when the game was called off a few weeks ago. A similar scoreline which Chelsea are extremely capable of will go down really well.

The suits at Hull must be choking in their canapes for lost revenue due to the fact the game was to be televised LIVE. Tonight only highlights are available.

The Boss 'Anco' has said the Didier will start alongside Anelka. "It will be a similar team to against Burnley, Didier will play from the beginning, and also Deco and Carvalho had recovery time against Burnley and will play from the start.

"Ashley Cole we don't know, we will take a decision tomorrow [today] because he had a problem on his ankle and we have to wait for tomorrow [today].

It was Didier who scored the last gasp winner at The Bridge in 'Anco's' first game in charge and 'Anco' recalls his first matchday. He said, "It was the first game, now we have played a lot of games in England and I have a good experience. I knew very well the top four but small teams I did not know, now I have that experience. Every game is difficult here, around the game there is a very good atmosphere and when you play away it is more difficult to win."

Hull are definitely without Jimmy Bullard who is still recovering from injury and Daniel Cousin who went out on loan.

Phil Brown tends to organise his side very well and they have a tendency to battle really hard against the stronger teams.

Will be a tough game.

Quiet handy that Bullard is out - this is his kind of match (didn´t he miss the last one as well?).

Good game, great free kick from drogba though i thought it was a penalty for the second challenge im not sure why he brought play back.

Decent game and we weren't at our best and i think i heard paul walsh commentating that it was Hull Citys best preformance of the season and it had to be because we wanted the three points and i know you wanted three points also.Drogba coming back seemed to slow the game up a little and with Anelka it didn't work like it should have.Looking forward to the game on Sunday i don't see any problems there and three points for me.

I agree about Myhill, he was in top top form, i have put in my report that i hope it was just not a case of us raising our game aainst the big boys but i fear it may of been, saying that its city at weekend and we should be able to do it again, its against the midtable clubs were we fall down, o well we can but keep the faith, good game guys.
