Chelsea v Everton: Who Will Be The Other Three?

COME ON CHELSEA

For the 2nd time this season, Chelsea have a home 3pm kick-off and the BOSS 'Anco' has gone out on a limb and named EIGHT of this afternoon's starting XI. Cech, Ivanovic, Carvalho, JT, Ashley Cole, Ballack, Mikel and Super Frank. You can almost choose the other three - Joe Cole, Anelka and Didier. Gael Kakuta could be involved after another impressive display against APOEL on Tuesday night. Definitely out are Essien, Deco, Alex, Kalou, Sturridge and Bosingwa.

Its amazing how the media interprets the word 'crisis.' Losing a penalty shoot-out at Blackburn in the Carling Cup - disappointing considering we fought back and equalised right on full-time (with ten men), defeat at Money Citeh - we are still leading the Premiership, a draw against APOEL - we were already group winners and qualified for the next round and we are in 'CRISIS.' Shame that some of these 'hacks' weren't around in the 80s, when we were really in 'CRISIS.'

I admit Chelsea haven't played well and when we do not play well, we still manage to grind out the wins - not the case from the last three games and Mikel's mistake the other night was simply just not good enough. So perhaps there is a call for 'CRISIS.'

Today we have the chance to start putting the balance right against a struggling Everton team - more so due to their injury list then anything else - and if the last two league meetings are anything to go by, then we should be in for a thrilling 0-0 draw!!!

The last time these two teams met was at Wembley back in May, when Chelsea came behind to win the FA Cup 2-1, after Saha took Robbie's Wembley record in putting Everton ahead nano seconds after kick-off.

On Monday the Academy are in FA Youth Cup action against Charlton Athletic at The Valley. The game was postponed from two weeks ago.

There LIVE updates from 7pm and the game is being shown LIVE on Chelsea TV.
