COME ON CHELSEA

There will be another night out for the Chelsea 'cheapskates' or Chelsea 'reserve' fans at The Bridge after the Carling Cup 4th Rd draw was made this lunchtime. Chelsea were drawn at home to Bolton. I just hope and pray that the person who will be sitting next to me on my right will not be the same person who wanted to talk to me all night like he try to do against QPR in the 3rd Round.

Now I am not normally a rude person, but he was getting on my nerves.

If I wanted a chat then I would have gone to the pub or to a cafe. I go to football to watch the game, support and sing for my team just not sit there to share pleasantries.

Just like the other day at the supermarket. A worker asked me if I was a Chelsea supporter. It was difficult to say no considering I was wearing a Chelsea shirt.

Then he said, "Guess who I support?" I said, "Yourself." Reasonable answer I thought. "No" he replied, "Man Utd." I thought to myself  'bet you never have been to Old Trafford in your life.'

Then he said to the wife, "Has he got the hump?" "No" she said, "he is always like that."

'Charming,' I thought when she told me HAHAHA!!

The last time the two teams met in the League Cup was thirteen years ago, Tuesday 22 October 1996, that fateful night when Matthew Harding along with his companions lost their lives when their helicopter crashed whilst returning from Bolton after seeing Chelsea lose 2-1.
