Over 4,000 fans attended the free open training session (dubbed the Chelsea Fan Fest) at the Qwest Field, home of Seattle Sounders and NFL's Seattle Seahawks yesterday, (Chelsea's 2nd training session of the day) and according to reports the fans were not disappointed. Every Chelsea player was on view and every Chelsea player took time out to sign autographs and have pictures taken.
Whereas the training session at Renton yesterday morning was held behind closed doors, this session was completely a free house and open to everybody.
Reports suggest the players loved it and lapped up the attention.
The watching Seattle public were treated to a series of 11-a-side matches, where the squad was taken through their paces and were rotated throughout.
All in all, the open session was deemed a success and so much so, the match later on tonight (8pm UK time) is a 67,000 sell-out.
Every pre-season match will have LIVE updates on the message board starting tonight from 7pm, with the first team sheet of the season.

Don't expect Didier, Essien, Mikel or Kalou to start or feature in tonights game as they only returned to training a few days before the squad departed to America. They will be available for the Inter game next week.

a backpass that almost went v wrong for Keller. Keller trod on the ball and his foot slip off as Anelka came in to challenge. Keller got lucky and managed to clear the ball away.
