Gills aim to take battle to last day

Gillingham face Swindon Town on Saturday ahead of The Gills’ biggest home game for several seasons. Mark Stimson’s men face Swindon Town Saturday lunchtime, knowing that a defeat or even a draw could see The Gills relegated to League Two following a twelve-year absence.

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson welcomes Mark Bentley back to the Gillingham squad having served his two-match suspension.

Adam Miller serves the final game ban having picked up ten bookings this season.

Dennis Oli and Simon Royce are both doubts for the game as they struggle to overcome head and ankle injury's respectively. Goalkeeper Royce has had an injection on his ankle in his bid to recover before the season close.

 

Swindon Town Team News

 

Swindon Town manager Maurice Malpas has said that he could field some of the club’s youngsters against The Gills. Morrison, Kennedy, Joy and Allen are all in contention to make it intothe first team squad.

Meanwhile Hasney Aljofree could make a return to the Robins squad, but Miguel Comminges is ruled out following a calf injury.

Fans wishing to purchase tickets can take advantage ofthe clubs buy one ticket and get an extra free offer. However, no tickets willbe available on Saturday and are only available to those on the clubs database.
