Port Vale Team News

Vale go into the game with Gillingham on Tuesday night off of an embarrasing four noting defeat at League Two side Hereford.

Vale defender Mark Pilkington missed the defeat at Heroford due to suspension but is now set for a return to the side. Long term absentees Michael Walsh, Nathan Lowndes, Robin Hulbert and Jason Talbot are definatly ruled out of the game.

Vale from: Goodlad, Anyon, Martin, Pilkington, Walker, Abbey, McGregor, Miles, Cardle, Prosser, Fortune, Sonner, Harsley, Jeff Smith, Whitaker, Soboliew, Christian Smith, Gardner, Glover, Moore, Constantine, Husbands, Sodje, Briscoe.

GFC Online prediction: Well Gillingham will go into the game with some confidence after an impressive second half display at Ashton Gate on Sunday. The Valiants have'nt won in six league games at home and were also well beaten at the hands of Heroford being hit for four without response. Should be a tight game but I think it will be a rare away win for Gillingham. 0-2
