Gills sign Dons man Chorley

Gillingham have signed Milton Keynes Dons defender Ben Chorley on a three month loan deal. Chorley, 24, had been a regular in Martin Allens squad before being transfer listed by the Don's boss. Chorley has signed a three month deal, but it is believed the move shall become permenent in January.

Gillingham boss Ronnie Jepson has been chasing a defender on loan for a while, and has been knocked back by transfer funds.

The signing of Chorley shall come as a welcome boost ahead of the meeting with Carlisle this weekend, as the Gills are still yet to keep a clean sheet this season.

Chorley had captained the Don's for two years until Martin Allens arrival from Brentford in the summer. Chorley made 137 appearences for the Don's scoring 7 times.
