Gillingham make their last ever appearance at Doncaster’s Belle Vue stadium this Saturday in what has been labelled as a must win game for the Gills. Gillingham have won just once so far this season and shall look to upset the in-form Doncaster.

The game will hopefully come as a welcome distraction to Gills fans, whose week has been dominated by both Gillingham chairman Paul Scally’s future at the club, and the club’s future itself. The Gills travel to the Belle Vue stadium for the last time before Doncaster move out into their new ground at the end of this season.

McDonald could partner Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu up front for the trip to Doncaster. McDonald injured his ankle in training, which led to him missing the defeat to Scunthorpe on Friday night. Mark Bentley also looks set to return to the side replacing Clint Easton, which should see Jarvis return to left midfield. Kelvin Jack also faces a late fitness test, but Randolph looks set to keep his place in goal after some impressive performances. Following Alan Pouton’s recent impressive performances, he looks set to keep his place in midfield despite Andrew Crofts returning from international duty without even making the bench. New signing Scott Flinders should go straight onto the bench.

 

Gills one to watch: Following recent performances the Gillingham man to watch must be Brent Sancho. His effort, determination and skill has lifted the Gills at vital times during a game.

Manager-less Doncaster go into the game off of an impressive 2.1 victory away to high-flyers Port Vale.

 

Donacaster's Bruce Dyer, Kevin Horlock and Anthony Griffiyth will sit out the game having picked up injuries to their groin and knee injuries respectively.
