Ronnie Jepson has denied that he is interested in the signing of Chester striker Micheal Branch. It was reported that Jepson was interested in signing the experienced striker, but Jepson has denied any interest what so ever. Branch had reportedly fell out with the Chester manager, but Ronnie Jepson has denied interest in the striker who found the net just six times in thirty appearences last season in League 2.

Talking to BBC Radio Kent, Ronnie Jepson said that the Chester striker was offered to the club, and he was not interested in the striker.

The Chester chairman Stephen Vaughan had originally claimed that the Gills made an enquiry for the Chester man, as did Rochdale.
