The Look on JT's Face Said It All

I Got Two Babe

There was absolutely no reason why Chelsea couldn't have repeated or bettered the score that Liverpool posted a mere ten days ago.

On paper, the strength of the Chelsea and Birmingham teams was so much in favour of the Champions and likely retaining champions that even the most hardened City supporter would not have expected less before kick-off.

But as with the defeats at Fulham and Middlesbrough a certain number of Chelsea players 'didn't turn up for work,' and as soon as Mourinho sorts out the mentality of these players, then Chelsea can 'kiss' goodbye to the title.

Steve Bruce, much maligned in recent weeks, saw his make-shift side battle and fight with grit and determination and although City didn't create that many chances, the fierce shot from Tebilly in the first-half caused Cech to make a super save.

Although Chelsea had two goals disallowed in the second-half (TV replays showed that both decisions were correct), Carvalho headed just wide, Drogba put three over the bar and Crespo shot straight at Taylor, it was another bad day at the office and John Terry certainly knew it as he trudged off the park, shaking his head in utter annoyance and the expression on his face had so much the same.

Seven points is Chelsea's lead at the top of the Premiership and the lead is looking shaky especially with Man Utd winning their last eight. No need to guess who is the form team at the moment.

COME ON CHELSEA!
