Can of Lager Jose??

I Got Two Babe

In the general scheme of things it has been a quiet week in the world of Chelsea Football Club. No rows, no arguments, no scurrilous trouble stirring mixing it up from any press or media source... a quiet week indeed.

Sweet press coverage on the King of Stamford Bridge's funeral and certain tabloids having fun with the party of Chelsea players, led by captain John Terry having a 'larf at Cheltenham races this week. Good luck to them and well done to Jose for letting them go.

But its down to serious business on Sunday at Craven Cottage in the West London derby as the champions look to keep their fifteen point lead at the top of the table.

I do like the pre-match build up between Fulham's Chris Coleman and our own JM. Full of respect for each other, lots of compliments and a mutual desire to their own respective clubs to well against each other.

Don't know if Coleman's statement about the can of lager for the post match drink will go down to well with the Special One - but hey what the hell these two are good friends. Reckon JM will take one of his special bottle of wine in the match day box.

Fulham's last victory over Chelsea was back in 1976/77 in the 'old' Second Division at Craven Cottage, Fulham winning 3-1. Chelsea's record at Craven Cottage is as follows: Played 30 and Chelsea have won eighteen of them with six draws and six defeats. Chelsea have scored 54 goals to Fulham's 37.

This derby may not rank high in the list of derby's that gets the most media and press coverage and despite Fulham's recent form they will rise above their normal game and if the crowd respond, Chelsea will have a difficult time.

Whatever happens, Coleman and JM will share that drink - albeit a can of lager.

COME ON CHELSEA!
