Chelsea do not play until Sunday and the only reason why I am writing Sunday's game preview today is that I have to work tomorrow and by the time I get back home, I know that I will not be a****ed to do it and then come Sunday morning I probably won't have the time, before I set off for the game.

Its a game I am looking forward to. Its the first competitive game between the two clubs and Colchester is a club not to be taken lightly. Deprived of their 12th successive league hime win the other night, Colchester are set for promotion to the Championship without going via the play-offs and the 'Shed End' of Chelsea will be decked in Blue and White of the Layer Road boys...... AGAIN (Huddersfield, Everton in the previous rounds, and now Colchester!!!!)

Talking of Layer Road Boys, I emailed a couple of webmasters asking them to write a piece about their club to publish on our network, just after Chelsea beat Everton in the 4th Round replay, and to this day I have not received even an acknowledgement of my email. So if you want to know anything about Colchester United, then go to Google and type in Colchester United.

I deplore absolute ignorance!!!

Anyway what do you know about Colchester United then? Nothing, unless you go to Google.

Jose announced today in his Friday press conference that Robert Huth and Lassana Diarra will definitely start on Sunday mainly because Super JT is suspended and the Claude is injured. Also unavailable are Del Horno injured and Willie G who is injured and would have been suspended anyway. With Wayne Bridge out on loan to Fulham, the 'Special One' doesn't have have a recognised left-back to turn to.

He could opt for Jonas Elmer to play left back. Elmer had a blinder against Arsenal in the reserves 0-0 draw at Aldershot last Monday but I suspect that the 'Special One' will ask Ferreira to do the job as Paulo played the whole 90 mins in the same game.

Up front choices may not cause the 'gaffer' any headaches as he announced that Dids, Crespo, Duff, Shaunie, Joe Cole will either start or be on the bench. Carlton Cole should be involved too. Although he missed a hat-trick of chances against Arsenal Reserves, in a game that could have ended in any permutation of score you want, but lets start with 7-6 to either side, a Carlton goal against United on Sunday won't do the lad's confidence any harm especially as Chelsea face Barcelona next Wednesday. Playing Barcelona is all about being a senior professional footballer isn't it? So come on Carlton!!!!

I am going for:

Cudicini, Johnson, Huth, Carvalho, Ferreira, Maniche, Gudjohnsen, Lampard, Duff, Drogba, J Cole

COME ON CHELSEA

40 YEARS A BLUE

SEE YOU SUNDAY
