Its either Millwall or Everton Away in the 4th Round of the FA Cup in this afternoon's draw. The last time Chelsea and Millwall played each other in the FA Cup was way back in 1995 when after a replay 1-1 Millwall won through on a penalty shoot-out 5-4.
In 1984/85 Millwall won 3-2 at The Bridge in the FA Cup and this was the season that Chelsea and Millwall played each other in the League Cup which Chelsea won 4-2 over two legs. In 1936/37 Millwall beat Chelsea 3-0 in the FA Cup as they did way back in 1914 when the two clubs first met in the competition. Millwall winning 1-0 at The Bridge after a replay. Chelsea and Everton have played each other six times in the FA Cup, the last game being way back in 1992 when Chelsea won 1-0 at Stamford Bridge. The first meeting between the two sides was in 1915 when Chelsea won 2-0 and the game was played at Villa Park. Then in 1929 Chelsea won again by the same score. At Stamford Bridge in 1938 Everton won 1-0 and the next meeting was in 1949 when Chelsea won again 2-0, then in 1956 Everton got their revenge by beating Chelsea at Goodison 1-0. So. Chelsea have been drawn against a team that they have never beaten in this competition and a team that they have won against five times. Earlier this season in the Premiership Everton and Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw at Goodison and these were two of the five points that the Champions have dropped away this season. Tie to be played weekend Jan 28th/29th 40 YEARS A BLUE!!
