Having said that. Everton belied their bottom of the table position and JM is right by saying that Everton will not be relegated. If the Toffee-men continue to show fight, grit and determination like they did yesterday, they will zoom up the table faster than a F1 or A1 car (whichever is your preference) off a starting grid.

I shivered with nervousness when JM announced that young German International Robert Huth had replaced Ricardo Carvalho, (who was suffering from concussion after a training gorund collision). Don't get me wrong Huth is an outstanding defender, but he does suffer from teenage rashness and is prone to getting himself in trouble.

But yet again JM pulled off another masterstroke. With Terry taking care of Beattie, Huth was up against Big Dunc and did he play him into his back pocket. Huth was commanding, determined and not fazed with the presence of Everton's No.9.

Whereas Essien was the star of the show against Bolton last week, Frank Lampard was the top man for Chelsea. He ran the show in midfield and scored a cracker of an equaliser five minutes into the second half.
