For the first time in five to six weeks since Man City came to Stamford Bridge and gained a point, Chelsea are at home in the Premiership tonight.

 Originally scheduled for Wednesday night before WBA agreed to the switch, Chelsea look to go clear at the top of the Premiership by eleven points with nine games to play. This match will also give the opportunity for a sell-out home crowd to join in with Chelsea's 100 Year Old Birthday celebrations which started in earnest at 7.30pm on Monday evening (100 Years to the day and time that Chelsea became Chelsea Football Club).

Another milestone tonight could see the return of Rocking Robben. After breaking two bones in his ankle at Blackburn a few days before Chelsea's last Premiership home game Robben may or may not start but everybody connected with Chelsea will be hoping that Robben will feature in the game during the course of the evening.

I suspect that Robben will be on the bench and subject to fitness and after a well deserved rest JM may well announce the following team:

Cech, Ferreira, Terry, Carvalho, Gallas, Makelele, Duff, Lampard, Tiago, Cole, Gudjohnsen.

Back in October at The Hawthorns, WBA became one of the only few teams to score against Chelsea in the Premiership. (The others being Southampton, Bolton, Man City, Fulham, Arsenal and Norwich City). Although the clean sheet record has now bit the dust Chelsea can now kick on and get the points needed to wrap up the Premiership title. A similar result tonight would be a nice way to continue the birthday celebrations. 4-1 at The Hawthorns with goals from William Gallas, Eider Gudjohnsen, Damien Duff and Frank Lampard. WBA's consolation goal came from Cera.

For those unable to get tickets for the game, the game is on television, a Brucey Bonus from Sky.

Talking of Sky. Chelsea's game at home to Fulham scheduled for Saturday 23rd April is now a 12.45pm kick off and the game away to Bolton on Saturday 30th April is now a 5.15pm kick off. (Could the Bolton game be the title clincher??)
